[edit] 576p?
There is no option in my PAL Wii's options to set 576p so am removing the mention of it in the specs, no matter how much I wish for proper PAL progressive scan I fear 480p or NTSC prog scan will be the best Nintendo will allow the Wii to do even in Europe where 576p should be suported due to that being the prog scan format over here. [edit] Gnc cpu
I think it is safe to asume that the cpu is using the same instruction set as the gnc cpu.
[edit] Deleted Random Line
I removed this line since it does not beloning at all in this article. "PrFILE2 supports the FAT file system used in MS-DOS and Windows PCs. It is compatible with FAT12, FAT16, FAT32, and VFAT (long file names)."
[edit] Rename Wii and Rewrite
I would like to suggest that this article be renamed Wii and then have more content written about it... there is no general Wii article, and this information would do nicly in one. Just a suggestion, tell me what you think (though I probaby won't see it on here, feel free to leave a comment on my talk page). Leif902 19:13, 11 February 2007 (EST)
[edit] Wii Hardware Testing
I don't want to be out of line but I'm curious about whether or not anyone has found a way to actually test the performance specs. and such of the Wii's hardware. From what I've seen on the internet, the specs listed on this site are the same as some bogus specs that were listed by MaxConsole months before the Wii was released. In fact, I've seen an article on NWiiZone that listed some generic performance specs. that were from an employee at Ubisoft stating that the Wii's main processor ran at around 2GHz. I'm just curious if someone from WiiLi has found a way to test the Wii's performance in real time or if the specs at this site are quoted from others. It might be important to test its performance specs. for the benefit of attempting to put non-Wii software on it. Maybe this can be done after WiiLi has successfully been put onto a Wii. I know of a site that has a program that can supposedly test a computer's processor speed in real time. Just keep this in mind: without testing or an answer from Nintendo, there is no way to verify that the specs listed on this page or in the hardware comparison can be trusted. --Baructt 08:43, 28 March 2007 (EDT)
